ALL ABOUT QUALITY MOVERS

Quality Movers was founded in Danville, Virginia in 1991 by a local firefighter Franklin Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was employed by Sears and Roebuck as an appliance deliveryman as well as the Danville Fire Department.  In October of 1990, Sears decided to subcontract their delivery services to an outside provider.  However, they offered Mr. Ferguson their Delivery Van and tools to begin his moving company.  He joined a group of fireman to build what would become the quintessential moving company in Southcentral Virginia.  Quality Movers has provided part and full time employment to a diverse workforce including teachers, police officers, firemen, and many others.
